1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using AlmaMesh, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use AlmaMesh.

2. What AlmaMesh Is

AlmaMesh is a free, local-first Vedic astrology app that runs in your browser. The chart engine runs on your device (in WebAssembly); there is no account or chart-data backend. An optional feedback form uses a same-origin Cloudflare function and D1 database. AlmaMesh requires no login, password, or email sign-up — "profiles" are names saved locally. Your birth details and charts are never stored by the feedback service.

By using AlmaMesh, you acknowledge that astrology is a belief system, not a science, and that interpretations are generated by AI based on traditional astrological principles.

4. Free, No Accounts

AlmaMesh is free. There is no payment, subscription, fee, or billing of any kind.
There are no accounts, logins, passwords, or registration — nothing to sign up for and nothing for us to suspend or terminate.
Profiles you create are local names stored only on this device; you control them and can delete them at any time.
AlmaMesh is intended for users aged 13 and older.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

Use AlmaMesh for any illegal purpose
Attempt to defeat, tamper with, or bypass the signed astronomy bundle or the on-device engine
Redistribute the app in a way that misrepresents its origin or removes these terms

6. Optional AI Interpretation

AI-generated interpretation, chat, and life-event organization are entirely optional and are never required to draw a chart.

AI features work only if you choose to configure an OpenAI-compatible endpoint (for example, OpenRouter or your own).
When you use them, PII-redacted chart prompts and chat questions are sent to the third-party endpoint you chose. Life-event prose is sent as written only after its separate disclosure, without birth details or chart data. Those requests are subject to that provider's terms and privacy policy, not ours.
AI output is probabilistic and may be inaccurate; treat it as entertainment, consistent with the disclaimer above.

7. Intellectual Property

AlmaMesh and its content are protected by copyright and trademark laws
Your generated charts and interpretations are for personal use only
You retain ownership of personal data you enter. Chart and profile records stay on your device; optional AI requests and feedback follow the separately disclosed network paths.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

AlmaMesh is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind
We are NOT liable for any damages arising from your use of AlmaMesh
We are NOT responsible for decisions you make based on astrological readings
Because AlmaMesh is free, our total liability shall not exceed zero dollars (US$0)

9. Modifications to AlmaMesh

We may modify or discontinue AlmaMesh at any time without notice. Because the app runs locally, a copy you have already installed continues to work offline regardless of any change to what we publish.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

11. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in California, except where prohibited by law.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
